stormy skies & thousand-watt smiles
About twenty minutes into Meaghan & Kevin’s sweet and snuggly engagement session, the skies opened up in an instant and unleashed one heck of a storm. We knew precipitation might be in the forecast, but we certainly didn’t expect gale-force winds and sideways rain! After regrouping in our cars for a moment, the rain began to relent, and the downpour became a mere drizzle. Ever the sweethearts, Meagan & Kevin happily grabbed the umbrellas I brought and decided to dance (and even run!) in the rain! In the end, their session turned out even sweeter than we could have imagined, which the two snuggling in tighter and Meaghan’s thousand-watt smile lighting up the skies.
It’s no surprise that these two embraced the elements; they adore backpacking trips and even met while working at a camp! When they’re not busy making the Manhattan skyline look good, they can found listening to The 1975, binging How I Met Your Mother, hitting up breweries, or cuddling with their rescue cats Benji (with one ear!) and Elvis (with one eye!). I can’t wait to see them dance again at their Porta wedding next August!
